Brother continues its pursuit of Environmental Perfection

Brother announced last week a new initiative to improve further its reputation as an environmental innovator.

Its latest environmental campaign has been set up in partnership with Foundation, an innovative climate fund for the Northwest of England. The manufacturer recently analysed its inventory of printing products and transferred all of its staff who used individual printers onto networked machines. This simple move has had a huge impact and will save energy, paper and consumables.

In addition, the machines are being tested and reconditioned in preparedness for being donated to charity. Brother has donated the printers to Foundation who in turn will pass them onto the people in the wider community who might not be able to afford technology to those who need them.

Brother is aiming to send zero waste to landfill and is always looking to reduce energy consumption. The manufacturer already recycles or reuses over 97% per cent of its waste and has won numerous environmental awards.

As a part of its quest for continual business improvement, Brother undertakes lots of environmental initiatives and this process is in part why it has recently been crowned No.1 ethical brand for the fifth year in a row!
